Job Responsibilities:
  • Conducts Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and works with IEP teams to develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP); provides IEP teams with consultation and training regarding implementation of the BIP.

  • Monitors the integrity of BIP implementation and data collection.

  • Maintains records, participates in interdisciplinary teams, and attends designated meetings.

  • Provides consultation and support to students, staff, parents, and community-based professionals.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $65,303 – $130,085 based on education, years of experience and overall qualifications. Salary is complemented by a full, comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in ABA, psychology, or special education.

  • Board certified Behavior Analyst or Board-Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral.

  • Must possess and maintain certification as a behavioral analyst in the state of Maryland.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of conducting and interpreting results of Functional Behavior Assessments.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of data collection, functional assessment, and behavior modification techniques.

  • General knowledge of normal and abnormal human development, including general knowledge of the impact of children’s psychosocial problems on learning and classroom behavior.
