Position Overview
North Star Behavioral Consulting is seeking a compassionate and dependable Behavioral Therapist to provide one-on-one in-home ABA therapy for a child in the Middleton/Madison area. This is a temporary, part-time position covering services from October 15, 2026, through January 3, 2027. The therapist will work closely with the supervising BCBA and family to implement individualized treatment goals in the home setting.
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday 3:00 PM–6:00 PM
12 hours per week
Temporary Position: October 15, 2026 – January 3, 2027
Responsibilities

Implement individualized ABA treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA.

Teach communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills.

Implement behavior intervention strategies using evidence-based practices.

Collect accurate behavioral and skill acquisition data.

Complete session documentation in a timely manner.

Collaborate with caregivers and the supervising BCBA to support client progress.

Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while working in the family’s home.
Requirements
-
Experience working with children preferred.

Experience in ABA, education, psychology, child development, or special education preferred.

RBT certification preferred but not required (training may be available).

Reliable transportation.

Ability to pass a background check.

Strong communication and organizational skills.
-
CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
