Position Summary
The BCBA is responsible for the clinical oversight of a manageable caseload (typically 10 full-time clients). You will develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in a clinic-based setting, utilizing a staggered scheduling model designed to reduce burnout and ensure high-quality programming for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Key Responsibilities
Assessment and Treatment Planning
- Conduct comprehensive assessments using tools such as VB-MAPP, ABLLS, and AFLS.
- Develop and adjust highly individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on data-driven research and clinical expertise.
Supervision and Training
- Oversee and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), ensuring treatment fidelity according to BACB guidelines.
- Collaborate with a dedicated Lead Therapist who assists with session prep and material retrieval.
Data Analysis and Collaboration
- Diligently monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to intervention strategies.
- Work closely with families, teachers, and medical professionals to provide a holistic, multi-disciplinary approach to care.
Administrative Ease
- Focus on clinical outcomes rather than logistics; simply submit worked hours and complete SOAP notes while our administrative team handles the rest.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required. Candidates sitting for the exam within 6 months will be considered.
- Experience: Proven experience working with children with autism is preferred, though we provide excellent support for newer clinicians.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, a commitment to evidence-based practice, and a desire to work within a collaborative, inclusive team culture.
