Position Overview
Behavior Technician Team Role:
- Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in the home & community settings
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement high quality ABA programing
- Â Record appropriate data as required, in a prompt and efficient manner using our Data Collection program Rethink
- Adhere to and respect household rules and expectations of professional behavior
- Participate in initial and ongoing trainings or workshops (including Mandatory all Team member meetings)
- Demonstrate ethical and mature behavior, including proper dress code, punctually, keeping your phone on silent during sessions, communicating promptly with the Family, Supervisors and DOO (returning emails or phone calls within 24 hours), and treating all members of the household with respect
- Submitting timesheets & mileage Daily to billing (Via Rethink) No later than 8PM each night
- Submit session notes daily
- Update management team within 15 minutes of any schedule changes/changes in session locations
- Get parent signatures on every visit No exceptions, we can NOT bill for sessions without the appropriate signatures.
- Contact Families, Supervisors and DOO if you must cancel a session. Contact Families, Supervisors and DOO if you must cancel a session. Families may be called or text in a group message with FULL team included.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs, sit on floor, quickly stand and be agile during session.
- Must have reliable transportation/ means of traveling to and from client homes
- Valid Driver’s License Must have proof of auto insurance (name must be on policy)
- Â Provide record of immunization to Measles/Mumps/Rubella (MMR), Chicken Pox (Varicella Zoster) & Whooping Cough (Pertussis)
- Able to pass Background Check
- 18 years of age or older
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Current RBT, BCAT, or ABAT Certification OR Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
- Required COVID-19 vaccinations required (exceptions allowed for medical and religious exemptions. If applying for medical exemption, a note from a medical professional must be provided before being authorized to be in the field)
