Job Description

About the Role

We’re recruiting a mission-driven Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to expand access to high-quality, culturally responsive ABA for children (approximately ages 1–12) across Lake County, Illinois. Ideal for a clinician who already has a full-time role and wants a flexible side engagement now—with a realistic path to full-time by July based on adherence, documentation quality, and outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Complete FBAs/assessments and write individualized treatment plans meeting Illinois Medicaid standards.

  • Deliver ABA via telehealth; coordinate/oversee in-home implementation when required.

  • Supervise and coach RBTs/technicians; ensure treatment fidelity and ethical practice.

  • Provide parent/caregiver training and drive measurable skill acquisition.

  • Maintain timely, compliant documentation; support prior auth/reauth with the admin team.

  • Review data, analyze progress, and iterate treatment plans to achieve outcomes.

Required Qualifications
  • Active BCBA certification (good standing).

  • Illinois behavior analyst license (LBA) or clear eligibility with a defined timeline.

  • NPI Type 1 (individual) with Behavior Analyst taxonomy (103K00000X).

  • Illinois Medicaid (IMPACT) enrollment or willingness to complete promptly.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with telehealth ABA, HIPAA workflows, and Medicaid-level documentation.

Preferred Background
  • Experience with Illinois Medicaid MCOs and PA/reauth workflows.

  • Prior supervision of RBTs/techs and structured parent-training programs.

  • Bilingual capability and/or a track record serving underserved communities.

Schedule & Caseload
  • Start part-time; typical per-child weekly bands4–8 or 4–10 hours.

  • Flexible scheduling; hours scale with adherence, documentation quality, family engagement, and outcomes.

  • Strong performers can scale to full-time by July.
