We are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join a clinical team supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including individuals with higher-acuity behaviors and dual diagnoses, in Jefferson City/Columbia, Missouri.
This position is ideal for clinicians/BCBAs who want to stay hands-on in the work—coaching staff in residential homes, supporting individuals directly, and collaborating with clinical and operational teams to improve outcomes.
Why This Role Stands Out
• Small caseload – typically supporting no more than three homes
• Hybrid structure with a mix of field work, office time, and administrative flexibility
• Reduced daily travel compared to many field-based BCBA roles
• Monday–Friday schedule with no routine on-call expectations
• Work closely with operations leaders who have clinical backgrounds in ABA
What You’ll Do
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
• Develop and oversee Positive Behavior Support Plans
• Coach Direct Support Professionals and RBTs on plan implementation
• Conduct fidelity checks and monitor behavioral data
• Participate in treatment team meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Support staff and individuals following behavioral incidents and guide improvement strategies
Compensation & Support
• $80,000 – $95,000 salary + bonus
• Bonus opportunities tied to billable hours and performance
• Continuing education covered for licensure and recertification
This role offers the opportunity to stay close to the clinical work, support individuals with complex needs, and collaborate with teams committed to improving quality of life for the people they serve.
Requirements
• BCBA certification required
• Missouri licensure (or eligibility)
• Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, social work, counseling, or related field
• Experience supporting individuals with IDD or complex behavioral needs preferred
