Job Summary
The Assessment Psychologist conducts diagnostic evaluations for individuals ages 1–21, integrating test results, clinical interviews, and behavioral observations to deliver clear reports and treatment recommendations to families. This position is primarily based in our Raleigh clinic, with limited travel to other locations across North Carolina.
Essential Functions
Clinical Responsibilities:
· Select, administer, score, and interpret standardized psychological tests and assessments.
· Conduct autism and differential diagnostic evaluations using evidence-based tools.
· Develop and deliver individualized treatment recommendations to families.
· Prepare accurate, thorough, and timely evaluation reports.
· Provide feedback sessions with families to ensure understanding of results and next steps.
· Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team to support continuity of care.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience
· Master’s degree in psychology and active North Carolina Psychological Associate license (required).
· State license or eligibility.
· Experience with autism and developmental assessments (preferred; training provided).
· Knowledge of behavioral health practices, assessment tools, and industry regulations.
· Proficient knowledge of computer systems including Excel and Word.
· Strong report writing, communication, and organizational skills.
Work Environment, Physical Conditions
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to work 40+ hours per week.
· Ability to travel between clinics.
· Ability to work cooperatively with others.
· Must comply with practice policies and procedures.
· Physical activities include standing for long periods of time, sitting for long periods of time, walking, bending, kneeling.
· Requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills.
· Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
