Job Description

Role Description

The Early Childhood Autism Support Specialist will be responsible for providing access to quality educational programming, assisting in the implementation of individualized behavior plans, collecting data, and working collaboratively with a team of professionals to support the development and growth of young children. This role requires a nurturing and patient approach to effectively engage and support children in their learning and behavior goals.

This position reports Monday-Thursday, 8:15-4:00, to our beautifully designed early learning center. The PASS therapist will enjoy a collaborative work culture, generous PTO, and high levels of support from our administrative team to set employees up for success. Supervision is provided for current RBTs (registered behavior technician) and BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) candidates.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $20.00-$24.00 (commensurate with experience)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or working towards a bachelor’s degree (intern opportunity)

  • Previous experience working with children, especially those with special needs

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the development of young children

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

  • Consistent attendance.

Please note that successful candidates will be required to pass a background check and complete relevant training programs.

Required skills
